Student Poetry and Art

| With the help of a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act, the Birmingham Public Library invited local, young adult author Chandra Sparks Taylor to host a creative writing workshop for elementary, middle, and high school students who visit the library after school. Ms. Taylor led students in writing their own poetry at 16 different Birmingham Public Library locations.
