About
The Business, Science & Technology Department covers practical issues
important to home and work. Whether you're working on homework assignments,
preparing for your first job, looking toward retirement, or anywhere in between,
the department offers a wide range of materials in a variety of formats. Areas
of emphasis include business and investment materials, medical information,
science fair resources, cooking, gardening, and car repair.
The Business, Science & Technology Department also houses the
Cooperating Collection of The Foundation Center of New York. This collection
of publications and electronic resources provides information about non-profit
grant making foundations in the United States. The 2006 core collection includes
more than
twenty titles
The BST Department is located on the third floor of the Central Library.
