Create You Own Book!
Your book can just be words, just pictures, or words and pictures together. It is up to you!

Step 1 Find 5 pieces of blank paper, any size. You can make your book on both sides of the paper of just one side.

Step 2 Think of an idea for the story of your book. You can also have a friend help you with this.

Step 3 Save one page to be the cover of your book. Use the other four pages to be the inside. One the cover of the book, put the title and your name. If your book has art, you can put it on the cover too.

Step 4 Put the pages in order and number them, from 1 to 4. Do not number the cover.

Step 5 Staple the cover to the pages.

Step 6 Show your book to your friends. You can read it to others, or they can read it on their own.

Step 7 Ask your teacher or librarian if they will put it on the library shelves. Or, put it on your bookshelf at home.

Your readers want to know your story.
